xgobobeanx made this video: Douchebag award goes to...
and I replied with: Douchebag on da street
I got the fever.
This song aired 5 times in March 2009 on WLUP 97.9 FM Chicago. I originally submitted it nearly a year ago but it never aired. Then I redid some of the vocals and shortened it- the new version aired 3 times. Then they aired the full original version twice. My first video using other videos directly saved from the web. I am in this video playing 2 different parts.
I am working on expanding my characters. But Roland is the old pro. This is from yesterday. Today was the first day I haven't been on Johnny's show in some form each day for the past several weeks.
But I met Johnny's producer Guy Bauer again this weekend. He's a good man- ever positive even though his job status is still not decided (to my knowledge, Johnny is currently still trying to work out a deal with WLUP- he's working without a contract right now.) Guy was doing a WLUP appearance near my office. We chatted and I finally got my Loop T-Shirt!
But even more cool- arrangements were finalized today for a dinner date in 2 weeks with Guy, engineer Vince, me and co-contributor Pete Hayman. Unfortunately Edwardo cannot attend due to a gig.
Sometimes bad is good. This is really bad. I don't have a great voice, but it was actually hard to sing THIS bad!
This remixed version of Hose Anna aka Hey Johnny B (to the tune of Hosanna from JC Superstar, Andrew Lloyd Webber) was aired March 4 and March 5. On March 9 they aired my original version which is longer. Johnny praised me and mentioned my name during the second airing March 9. I never thought he'd play this.
The video above contains 2 Roland Burris voice mails and a voice mail from co-contributor Pete H. as FBI Special Agent Stu Nbmun.
Yeppers. As in, uh huh.
